Baikal skullcap (Fam.: Lamiaceae) is a perennial labiate with violet, helmet-shaped flowers and strong roots that thrive in sandy soils. Japanese knotweed (Family: Polygonaceae) is a fast-growing, perennial knotweed with hollow stems and heart-shaped leaves, characterized by its enormous vigor. Why use it as a tincture?

The tincture concentrates soluble plant compounds and makes them available for longer. Alcohol serves as an extractant and preservative and has the major advantage of extracting water- and fat-soluble ingredients from the plant. These, in turn, are absorbed quickly and directly through the mucous membranes, enabling high bioavailability and rapid onset of action—ideal even for digestive issues or impaired absorption. An alcohol-free version often cannot extract this range of substances in the same way.

Product information: Ingredients of the drops

Organic alcohol (80% vol.)
Alpine spring water
Alcoholic extract of Baikal skullcap root, Andrographis, and Japanese knotweed root.

Once the plant minerals (i.e. mineral extract) have been added to the alcohol extract, the alcohol content of the finished tincture is reduced to 65% vol.

Recommended dosage: Application & Dosage

Take 25 drops 3 times daily, diluted in a little water (150 ml)
OR add 75 drops to 500 ml of water and drink throughout the day
For optimal results, it is recommended to take this for a period of at least 4 months.
100 ml contains approximately 2200 drops.

Tip: Hold the drops in your mouth for a few moments before swallowing.

The recommended daily intake (60 drops) contains an alcoholic extract of 260 mg of Baikal skullcap root and 170 mg each of Andrographis and Japanese knotweed root, with mineral extract obtained via calcination.
