SAGRUSAN®: One company, one family, one philosophy

Georg Grubelnig, founder and managing director of SAGRUSAN®, was a true nature boy from an early age. He was enthusiastic about nature and its gifts and regularly traveled in the local mountain regions of Austria. There, over the years, he decided to become intensively involved in the field of herbs and their positive effects on humans. His father-in-law contributed his part when he shared his extensive knowledge of herbs and alchemy with him. He also taught him how to produce herbal tinctures. Since 2006, he has been experimenting with different tincture recipes until, after a few years, he was able to perfect the recipes for his unique tinctures. In 2013, Georg Grubelnig also received the seal of approval from the Association of Holistic Natural Healing Therapists of Austria.

Georg Grubelnig has also passed his enthusiasm for natural sciences to his son. Since he was able to stand on his own two feet, Thomas Wallner has taken over some tasks in the family business to support his father in the best possible way. A few years later, Thomas successfully completed his studies in the field of "Biomedical Engineering" and became 2nd Managing Director and owner of the family business in 2021. In the same year, his wife Greta Rivera Mendoza also joined the family business. The law graduate originally comes from Mexico and supports the father-son duo with all her strength. It was important to the family that SAGRUSAN® remains a family business and that the tinctures are always produced with passion in the highest quality. The business will stay without external partners, not only to be able to maintain the quality standards, but also to continue its own company philosophy.

In a world of industrially processed food, refineries, pasteurization and other preservation methods, SAGRUSAN® wants to clearly position itself with the natural herbal tinctures: It is important to us to reactivate the self-healing process of people in a natural way, to encourage a healthier lifestyle and to show what treasures Mother Nature provides us with. With our tinctures, we provide a simple tool to use herbs and their effects in an efficient and easy way. Compliance with ecological criteria in the production process plays just as an important a role as the alchemical processes that have been passed down from generation to generation within the family. The conscious decision to avoid animal testing as well as artificial additives, colors and genetic engineering has been maintained for many years.
